Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Optimizing Brain Functionality

We specialize in treating individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, using a holistic approach to optimize brain functionality. By mapping courses of treatments and employing cutting-edge technologies, we provide the appropriate sensory and cognitive exercises to improve the brain’s plasticity and connectivity.

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

We identify the sensory and neurological deficits and patterns that underlie the patient’s ADHD or ADD diagnosis.

We provide tailored sensory and cognitive exercises that improve processing, control, timing, coordination, and cognition, to help patients regulate movement, attention, impulsivity, judgment, planning, and motivation.

Our method leverages the neuroplasticity of the brain to yield improved focus, attention, and behavior, leading to a better academic and personal life.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

ASD encompasses a group of disorders with Common learning, behavioral and neurological patents, including pervasive development disorder, Asperger syndrome and childhood disintegrative disorder

Root Causes

Our approach starts by identifying inefficient sensory and neurological networks underlying the patients ASD diagnosis, causing century processing issues, impaired motor skills, and difficulty with interpersonal communication and acceptable behaviour

Holistic Care

We provide a holistic therapy plan that combines cognitive exercises behavioral and social skills interventions and parental education and support leveraging the neuroplasticity to improve the quality of life for children in the spectrum

We perform a comprehensive health and nervous system assessment that includes studying the patient’s vision, hearing, and motor skills to determine the root cause of the dyslexia.

After identifying the underlying dysfunction, we use a blend of exercises customized to address the patient’s information processing problems, such as eye exercises, coordination activities, cognitive therapy, and more.

Our approach focuses on improving the patient’s inherent neuroplasticity to help them overcome their learning difficulties in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and calculating.

Hope Brain Diagnostic's Approach

QEEG: Quantitative Electroencephalogram

  • The measurement of brain waves and patterns through electrical activity
  • The brain waves are measured in 4 stages, Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta.

Right Eye

Sensory motor system that records, views, and analyzes indistinguishable eye movements.

Eye Tracking technology to aid in initial diagnostics and monitoring neurological disorders and diseases.

A cognitive assessment test used to measure cognitive function.

A few tests to name are Short-term memory, attention reasoning, verbal ability.

Developmental Delays

We perform a thorough evaluation that combines child development specialists, pediatric neurologists, and other medical professionals to identify developmental delays in one or more areas, such as motor skills, cognition, language, social- emotional development, or self-help abilities.

Our team devises a personalized intervention plan that may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and other interventions that address the underlying impairments and provide the stimulus needed for the developmental gap to be bridged.

Parent Caregiver Education

We also provide ongoing training, resources, and expert advice to the parents and caregivers of children with developmental delays, ensuring they have the knowledge and support they need to offer the best possible care for their loved ones.

Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)

SPD Symptoms

Children with SPD may display a range of symptoms, including heightened or reduced sensitivity to sounds, touch, taste, or smells, poor balance and coordination, and social communication difficulties that often resemble those found in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Our assessment process will involve a comprehensive evaluation of the child’s sensory functioning to identify the specific dysfunctional areas.

We provide an individual treatment plan that may include sensory integration therapy, occupational therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and social-skills training to help the child develop better coping skills, improve communication and behavioral self-regulation, and adapt to their social environment.

Seizure Disorders

Type of Seizure Disorders Symptoms Treatments
Generalized onset seizures (Absence, Tonic-clonic, Myoclonic, Atonic)
Unresponsiveness, staring, convulsions, brief muscle jerks, sudden loss of muscle tone, episodic falls.
Ketogenic diet, vagus nerve stimulation, neurostimulation
Focal onset seizures (Simple partials, Complex partials, Secondarily generalized seizures)
Unusual sensations, confusion, aberrant behaviors such as biting and rubbing hands, repetitive motions, involuntary movements, memory loss, altered consciousness
Surgical resection, laser ablation, antiepileptic medications, neuromodulation, deep brain stimulation
Unknown onset seizures (Non-epileptic seizures, Psychogenic nonepileptic seizures)
Paralysis, incontinence, eye rolling, body stiffening, no abnormal brain activity during seizure, psychological or emotional origin
Psychiatric therapy, antidepressants, cognitive- behavioral therapy, stress- management techniques
